The C-section went smoothly and baby Hudson scored high on his Apgar test. We were in the hospital from Monday through Thursday. During that time I had some complications with recovery, but everything is fine now. Hudson lost 10% of his body weight in the hospital so we took him to the pediatrician this morning. He's also climbing a touch higher on the jaundice scale. We were told to take him outside to try and let the sunshine do it's work. We will return to the doctor on Monday morning to follow up.
Hudson is adjusting well to life in the Clark home. Peyton and Easton are just thrilled with THEIR new addition. They love him very much and want to be with him all the time. Peyton has drawn him many pictures and prepared many songs on the piano for him. They asked Grammy to make a cake for our homecoming. They iced it and Peyton presented it after dinner on Thursday.
We are so glad to be home and have Grammy & Grampy here to help us transition from recovery to our regular daily life. Thank you for all the phone calls, cards, gifts and prayers. We are so happy to complete our family of five.

Congratulations! Hudson is adorable. Glad to hear you are feeling better. I hope Hudson feels better too.
He totally reminds me of Easton as a baby! Congrats!
