Apparently Hudson seems to think he needs to make up for the lack of ER visits by his siblings. He's been now three times in a little over two years. He's going to give us a heart attack at some point. We're pretty sure of that!
The day started out with a precautionary call to the nurse practitioner describing symptoms Hudson had been experiencing for almost two weeks. He had a rash, fever, red eyes and just wasn't acting right. She wanted us to come in right away. After two people examined him in the office they decided he needed to be tested for Kawasaki Disease. It's an autoimmune disease that can cause arteries to become inflamed. If left untreated for 10+ days it can be very serious and cause cardiac problems. Luckily after testing and being observed overnight at the hospital he was cleared for the disease. Apparently it was just a nasty virus that had similar symptoms.
